Former external affairs minister Sushma Swara passed away at AIIMS, Delhi today. She was 67.
According to a report, she suffered a cardiac arrest. The report further stated that she was rushed to the hospital at 10:15 p.m. and immediately admitted in the emergency ward. Many senior political leaders also arrived at the hospital.
At around 7 pm in the evening, the late parliamentarian had tweeted congratulating PM Narendra Modi for revoking the special status for Jammu and Kashmir. She tweeted, “Thank you Prime Minister. Thank you very much. I was waiting to see this day in my lifetime”.
And now, condolences poured in from all quarters of the world following her demise. Bollywood celebs too expressed their grief over social media. Celebs like Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Vishal Dadlani, Swara Bhasker, Raveena Tandon and a lot more took to their social media handles to mourn the demise of Sushma Swaraj.
